Camacho Check Six cigars are the second release in the brand's Brotherhood Series, which tributes those who serve in the United States Armed Forces. The name comes from the military phrase "check your six," which means "watch your back." A spokesperson for Davidoff of Geneva USA, owner of the Camacho brand, said that the cigar is inspired by the common bond shared within the military. This brotherhood is "also aspirational for many." The spokesperson goes on to say how "we all have people in our lives that we know have our back." The company states the Camacho Check Six cigars are great to share with those who have our six and vice versa.
The wrapper used on the Camacho Check Six cigar is an Ecuadorian grown Habana 2000 leaf. This leaf is a hybrid of Connecticut shade and Cuban seed developed by Nestor Plasencia in Nicaragua. It is known to be rich, bold, and packed with flavor. Below this hybrid is a Nicaraguan Criollo '98 binder and a tri-country core blend of long-fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Honduras. The outcome is a medium-full-bodied smoke with notes of roasted nuts, old leather, charred wood, and cumin.
Whether you've served, know someone who did or currently is, or you're a patriotic American, the Check Six sticks are an excellent tribute to our military heroes. These smokes are released in extremely limited editions. Grab some while you still can!
Please enjoy Camacho Check Six cigars at your leisure.
