As cigar smokers, we have a soft spot for limited edition sticks. Maybe this goes back to our youth and collecting baseball cards, or whatever limited thing caught your interest. Perhaps it has something to do with wanting what we (almost) can’t have.
Whatever the case, limited edition cigars are often that way due to the rarity of the premium tobacco used. Of course, there are numerous other reasons—all positive—why some lines are limited editions. For example, some cigars are released once a year to mark an occasion. Smoking a limited edition cigar that may or may not resurface someday is like marking a point in time with smoke.
Our Camacho Limited Edition cigars all share a common patriotic theme. There’s the Camacho Liberty Series which becomes available each year around the 4th of July to celebrate the birth of our nation. These releases are limited to a mere few thousand boxes. For the Liberty Series 2020, Camacho brought the big fireworks with a brand new blend. African, Dominican, and Honduran long-fillers comprise the core blend. A Honduran Corojo binder comes next and is topped by a tasty Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The result is a medium-full-bodied smoke laced with notes of white pepper, herbs, dark cocoa, and hazelnut.
Up next in our Camacho Limited Edition cigars is the Camacho Check Six. The Check Six is named for the military phrase “check your six,” meaning “watch your back.” These cigars are meant to honor our military heroes and the people in our own lives who always have our back. The Check Six cigar uses an Ecuadorian grown Habana 2000 leaf developed by Nestor Plasencia. This leaf combines Connecticut shade and Cuban seed to help deliver a delightful experience of notes ranging from charred wood to cumin.
Closing out our Camacho Limited Edition cigars is the Camacho Hard Charger, which honors how the United States Marine Corps is always leading the charge. A dark brown Connecticut broadleaf Maduro wrapper covers a core blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers and Corojo binder. Expect notes ranging from black pepper to milk chocolate.
Salute a United States military hero today with any of these limited edition cigars.
