Once upon a time, James Lee was tasked by the Cleveland Browns with protecting the likes of Brady Quinn and Colt McCoy. But after his NFL lineman years were over, he moved on to other pursuits. Among these is founding the Cigar Pxrn brand, which was created to fill something of a void in the cigar industry.
For Lee, he noticed that a lot of the swag put out by major cigar brands wasn’t their real “core competency,” shall we say. Cigar brands are great at making cigars – everyone knows that. But making T-shirts and hats? Maybe Drew Estate doesn’t have this problem, because they have a whole art studio attached to their operations, but other brands do.
Lee founded Cigar Pxrn to change things up.
Cigar Pxrn was made to be a brand that cigar lovers could wear without necessarily repping any particular cigar brand. It was also made to be higher quality than “afterthought” gear made as an add-on or giveaway by cigar companies.
The tagline for Cigar Pxrn explains that “It’s just a lifestyle.” What does that lifestyle look like? Well, one look at the Cigar Pxrn Instagram will clue you in: fat stogies, cold drinks, hot ladies, lush golf courses, and everything that Tampa has to offer. In fact, the company is big into supporting the local scene, so if you’re in the area, this is a fine company to support.
