Crowned Heads' La Vereda is an expansive four-vitola line that was in the works for more than a year. The cigars feature a Jalapa, Nicaragua wrapper, binder from Jalapa and a three-year aged filler blend from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
The cigars are made by seven pairs of craftspeople at Tabacalera La Alianza S.A. in the Dominican Republic, and production has been slowed down to 60% to prioritize quality.
“La Vereda is a blend I’m truly proud of and would have loved to have had as a brand in our EPC Cigar portfolio, but I’m happy that Crowned Heads has it as they are part of our extended family,” said Perez-Carrillo Jr. in a press release.
