Espinosa Laranja Azulejo

The Espinosa Laranja Azulejo cigar is the third release in the Laranja line. The original Laranja Reserva released in 2014 is widely celebrated. It received a 91 rating and held the number 13 spot on Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of 2015. For the Laranja Azulejo, Espinosa enlisted A.J. Fernandez to produce the cigar at his San Lotano factory in Ocotál, Nicaragua, just like the second release in line, the Laranja Reserva Escuro.

At the core of the Espinosa Laranja Azulejo cigar, you’ll find choice long-fillers from all of Nicaragua’s prized growing regions. Holding these close is a fiery Brazilian Arapiraca binder. Often a blender incorporates Arapiraca into the mix to add complexity to the smoke. For a wrapper, we have a midnight black Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf. Known to deliver on best-in-class flavor, potency, and aroma, the Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper provides woody and spicy notes, among others.
