Espinosa Warzone cigars is a first-time collaboration between Espinosa Cigars and General Cigar Co. Espinosa Cigars has stated the Warzone is unlike any other in their portfolio. These cigars get their name from the Ten Years' War (also known as the Great War). This decade-long war (1868–1878) was part of the Cuban uprising to gain independence from Spain. The rebellion was led, in part, by Cuban-born planters. The artwork on the box tastefully depicts one of the war's battles. The cigar's band also pays tribute to "Ten Years' War" written up top and the years listed below.

The wrapper on Espinosa Warzone cigars is an African Cameroon leaf selected by Espinosa from General Cigar's massive tobacco library. The blend comes from Espinosa Cigars and uses a Honduran binder and fillers from Colombia and Nicaragua. The production goes down at Espinosa's La Zona factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, while General Cigar handles the distribution.
