Great transaction
I was lucky to find a 5 pack of CAO Amazon Basins and made my order immediately. Cigars were delivered in a zipper bag with a humidity packet. Bag was in a nice box and the box was inside a nice Cigars Direct bag and wrapped in bubble wrap.
CAO Amazon
Been waiting to get these Amazon sticks and Cigars Direct came through for me!!
Let them age for a while
The Amazon Basin cigars are a truly unique experience, but they require some patience. These cigars benefit greatly from sitting in your humidor for a while to allow the flavors to fully develop. When properly aged, the difference in flavor is remarkable compared to smoking them right away. The richness and complexity deepen over time, with earthy and sweet undertones becoming more pronounced. If you try one too soon, you might miss out on the full potential of this blend. For the best experience, let them rest, and you’ll be rewarded with an exceptional smoke. Highly recommended for those who enjoy aged cigars.
Can't get over the construction
Certain aspects of a cigar are expected when you pay over $20 a stick. This 2024 version of the CAO Amazon Basin may just be one of the poorest constructed cigars I've ever seen come out of the CAO house. The cap has jagged, loose ends like a 3 yr old cut it with safety scissors...and the foot of the cigar has so much damage to the wrapper that chunks of wrapper are missing exposing the binder.
Smooth Tasting Cigar
An overall beautiful experience while smoking this cigar. A nice experience of not removing a signature band.
