This one uses a different set of tobaccos than the No. 9. Instead of the straight-up Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, this one uses a hybrid. One part habano and one part Corojo, the H99’s capa leaf, brings the flavor that blender Willy Herrera wanted, with the hardiness that the grower needed to ensure that the tobacco would come out right in the Connecticut River Valley. To this day, there’s just one farmer trusted with this seed, and as a result, the quality of the wrapper remains as captivating as ever.

Under that, Drew Estate Liga Privada H99 Flying Pigs contain another bold, flavorful leaf: the Mexican San Andres Otapan Último Corte binder.
