Human beings can’t perceive the fourth dimension, but thanks to Jake Wyatt cigars, we can now smoke it!
One look at this cigar tells you that you’re dealing with a totally new kind of cigar company. For starters, those accents on the head and foot are actually candela leaf! For those who don’t know, candela is made using a different process than standard tobacco leaf. Most tobacco just harvested from the field is cured for somewhere around a month. The green chlorophyll slowly dissipates and the leaf turns that luscious brown color. Candela, on the other hand, is rapid-cured at high heat, which allows the leaf to stay green and enables it to keep a grassy, tea-like flavor profile.
But this is only one tiny component of the blend!
Like many other JW blends, the Jake Wyatt Fourth Dimension cigar is built on a strong core of robust Dominican leaf. Around this, you’ll find a beautiful caramel brown Habano rosado wrapper. As you can imagine, with all this leaf in the mix, this stogie has some wild flavors!
Roasted almonds, creamy hot cocoa, and chestnut are all present in the smoke. On top of that, in the first third of the Jake Wyatt Fourth Dimension cigar, you’ll also get candela notes like tea and sweet floral notes. It’s a great cigar when you’re in the mood for something interesting, and you want a cigar that will command your attention. Some cigars are great background smokes, others are great for pairing, and some are perfect when you just want to enjoy a cigar and focus on the enjoyment of tobacco.
This is one of those “focus on me” blends.
The company is still quite new as of the time of this writing in 2022, so we understand if folks aren’t familiar with JW cigar lines yet. For those keeping score, or who have experienced other blends, this Jake Wyatt Fourth Dimension cigar uses the same Habano wrapper as the U.S.I.R., but the aging process is different on that blend. They’d make great comparison smokes.
This is a Habano powered by Dominican tobacco with notes of flair that kick off right from the first draw. JW is certainly grabbing our attention with this one!
