Oscar Valladares 10th Anniversary cigars celebrate ten years of success for a quite special company. The beginning of the company – it's a seed – was planted purely by chance. Oscar Valladares was not destined for tobacco by birth. His family didn’t bring him into the world of the leaf as a youngster. Instead, he was working a fairly routine job in tourism in Honduras when the opportunity came knocking. A random week spent with a VIP guest named Rocky Patel showed Oscar a new path into the wonderful world of tobacco.
Oscar Valladares learned much from working at the Rocky Patel cigar company, and eventually, in 2012, he launched his own venture. Now, he can look back on ten years (and counting) of growth and prosperity. Most companies fold by then, but the great ones are just getting started a decade in, so it is with Oscar and his fine organization.
Oscar Valladares 10th Anniversary cigars have some nice flair to them. You have to show off a bit on your birthday, don’t you? The blending team went with savory five-year-aged Nicaraguan fillers and a homegrown Honduran binder and then saved the best for last. The wrapper is a hearty Mexican leaf, accented with a Honduran candela foot. The result is a cigar that starts with interesting herbal green flavors in the mix and settles into something just right for the rest of the session.
