Partagas rode into the fertile green San Andrés Valley in Mexico, and what they found there made them quite happy.

Like many cigar makers, Partagas has found a good use for the rich, earthy tobacco cultivated in Mexico’s most famous growing region in Veracruz. Now, in the Partagas Valle Verde, we get a sophisticated take on the leaf. It’s joined together with a 2015 Cameroon binder and holds in a long-filler blend from San Andrés and Nicaragua (Estelí and Jalapa). The combination of Mexican and Nicaraguan tobacco is an excellent choice, but the inclusion of genuine Cameroon leaf takes this blend to places that will intrigue and delight cigar lovers from the very first draw.
