They offer "discounts", and then remove the discounts after the transaction

I have ordered from Cigars Direct 3 times. The website says free shipping above $99. I spent $1.5K and got charged shipping. I got several emails offering different discount codes. Second transaction I got free shipping and the discount worked. Third purchase I got free shipping, but the discount was removed. The changes are discrete so I didn't notice until I went back and looked. I spend a lot of money on smokes. I don't appreciate getting nickle-and-dimed.
