For some people, Halloween is a throwaway holiday – an unimportant kiddie event that provides an excuse to eat candy straight from a bowl while waiting for the “real” holidays to roll in. But then, there are others. Others for whom Halloween is secretly (or openly!) their favorite holiday of the year. A time to watch horror movies; a time to decorate the yard with body parts; a time to be creepy as hell. For you others, we have the Tatuaje Monster Series cigars. This annual release features a different monster-themed cigar every year.
The series has always revolved around “evil” numbers. Many runs have included 666 hand-numbered 13-count boxes with special art and designs. The cigars have had an MSRP of $13 each, and the special boxes have been sent to 13 different retailers every year. 10-count standard boxes and 2-count samplers are also sometimes shipped to help meet demand. Tatuaje reports that with the 13th installment in 2018, the series is complete.
