Surprisingly very smooth, pepper is there but not overwhelming like some AJ cigars. Glad I purchased the sampler before it was gone. I purchased one last July and smoked it today. Great burn, salty, pepper, a little leather, enjoyable! Not for new smokers, has some strength. Nice!
