This Drew Estate Kentucky Fire Cured Flying Pig cigar is made in Nicaragua. Outside, you'll find a Kentucky Fire-Cured wrapper. Inside, the binder is USA, and the filler is USA. The Kentucky Fire Cured Flying Pig is a Perfecto shaped cigar with a length of 4.10 and a ring gauge of 60.
Drew Estate's MUWAT Kentucky Fire Cured line might be the most intriguing cigars since the ACID. As the name implies, these cigars feature a hefty amount of fire-cured tobacco in the long-filler blend. For those unfamiliar with fire cured tobacco, it's essentially smoked in a barn for a few days rather than being air-dried like most tobacco. As a result, it is extremely smoky and often tastes like hickory or bacon.
We'll say that again: fire cured tobacco makes cigars taste kinda like bacon. Yum.
Naturally, here in the States, we can't get enough of the stuff. And the Kentucky fire cured flying pig has proven to be the most popular KFC release by far. The San Andres maduro wrapper of the KFC flying pig brings earthy sweetness, while the matafina binder delivers spice galore. The Nicaraguan long-fillers then provide an earthy backbone to the smoke. But it's the Kentucky fire cured flying pig's long-fillers that are the real star of the blend. Ultra-savory, extremely aromatic, and infinitely satisfying, the palate is redolent with hickory, barbecue sauce, maple, and earth. It's the perfect cold-weather cigar but also goes great with a summer barbecue.
If you want all-in on the hog, the KFC flying pig A.K.A Kentucky Fire Cured Flying Pig is probably the ultimate cigar for you.

An interesting cigar.
This is a truly interesting cigar. Just taking out of the wrapper, I kew I was going to enjoy this cigar. I had a wonderful hickory smell to it. While smoking the cigar, I enjoyed the pine and earthy flavor. A cigar I would enjoy trying again.
