This H Upmann 1844 Special Edition Barbier Toro cigar is made in Dominican Republic. Outside, you'll find an Ecuadorian Connecticut and Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper leaves to create the barber pole design, which gives the cigar its name, as barbier is the German word for barber. Inside, the binder is from the island of Java in Indonesia, along with a mix of Nicaraguan, Dominican and Filler is broadleaf tobaccos of undisclosed origin. This is a Torpedo cigar with a length of 6.00 and a ring gauge of 54.

Well-constructed cigar with an even burn. The flavors were excellent with transitions between the wraps. Medium body. Would smoke this again!
