Nice after dinner alternative.
I’ve been a new fan of Rocky Patel’s mainly Javas and Vintage 1999. My local shop introduced me to a Habano Torpedo, after a couple of times they have become a nice alternative for an evening smoke. They have a great feel and slight hard draw but do loosen up with time. The smoke is mellow with a dark coffee/ coco combination. I’ll enjoy this box with my favorite evening drink.

Very nicely surprised
Not usually a big fan of Rocky’s but this was solid! I bought it through pilling a bunch of single sticks in my cart off the Cigar Aficionado top 10 year by year and grabbed this one. Excellent choice, no complaints at all and would happily have this stick anytime
Edge Habano edges out Edge Corojo
For a couple of years The Rocky Patel Edge Corojo was my favorite regular occasion smoke. At a pow wow with some friends a pal from New York gave me a Rocky Patel Edge Habano and suggested it is even better than the Corojo. After trying tha Habano, I purchased a box from Cigars Direct. It was delivered in a couple of days and I alternated between the Corojo and Habano. When the Corojos ran out I bought more Habanos.. It is rated 94 by Cigar Aficionado and has a great price point. The draw is lighter than the Corojo and the burn line is more even. It has a mellow medium taste reminiscent of leather and wood and no bite. The Nicaraguan Cuban seed wrapper is beautifully done. It is an all Nicaraguan tobacco cigar. As much as I liked the Edge Corojo, I liked the Habanos even more and it will be my favorite everyday smoke for a while. Hope someone finds this review helpful.
Great value for a Torpedo cigar
Ive alway found Rocky Patel cigars to be some of the best hand made cigars on the market! And the Edge Habano Torpedo in one of my go to cigars. Rich oily Habano rapper that just feels great in you fingers! The smoke is a rich combination of leather, dark coffee and hints of coco! Excellent construction and a slightly tight draw! I buy them by the Box!
