Blown Away!! Wow
I’ve been smoking cigars for almost 20 years, and in that time I’ve smoked my share of boutique-tier cigars. Rick Rodriguez has blended a stunner here. I’m so glad he left General and decided to go out on his own taking a risk. I hope that all you serious cigar smokers out there give this toro a try. It’s incredibly dynamic. Complex and rich with all flavors compelling and elegant. Not too much spice and never dull. Chalk full of nuttiness and cocoa, while having a fruity element of raisin and currant flickering throughout. And although San Andres wrappers are known for their robustness, this SA is subtle. The complexity continues through all 1/3’s of the cigar. While some cigars change drastically from the moment they begin to sing, this one seemed to hold it’s same note down to the nub. Medium to full-bodied, if you’re looking a mighty stick to sink your teeth into, and yet relax and unwind, give this Red Label from West Tampa a try. You’ll be pleased. Stay lit my friends.
