Inside, the binder is Nicaraguan, and the filler is Nicaraguan. This is a Corona Extra cigar with a length of 5.50 and a ring gauge of 48. The man’s 100th birthday celebration is made with a somewhat different blend of tobaccos, but still all from Nicaragua. They were all grown on My Father's farms in San Rafael, Las Quebradas, and San José.

The 100 Años L.E. blend is brought together by a wrapper called “Habano Oscuro Oscuro.” It’s not the darkest ever but has plenty of color and richness to stimulate all the senses. The flavors of the smoke are classic Don Pepin, with black pepper front and center, a nice earthy core, and an intriguing hint of something like florals in the background. Some creaminess develops as the cigar returns from its bite. As all My Father fans know, it goes without saying that this smoke is a delight to enjoy, with a profile that is exactly what we’re looking for in a cigar from the legend behind My Father.
