This Southern Draw Jacobs Ladder Brimstone Perfecto cigar is made in Nicaragua. Outside, you'll find a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper. Inside, the binder is Ecuadorian and Nicaraguan, and the filler is Dominican, Ecuadorian, & Nicaraguan. This is a Perfecto cigar with a length of 6 and a ring gauge of 56.
The Southern Draw Jacobs Ladder Brimstone cigar is a tobacco blend of downright biblical proportions!
This follow-up to the original powerhouse is nothing to sneeze at. Where the first installment of the Jacobs Ladder had double Ligero, this one is billed as a triple (in its way). Fans of strength will get everything they need and more.
Fans of flavor will be knocked right off their stone pillow, too. The original’s interesting campfire and cookie combo have been exploded into something totally new, with notes of black cherry, cashews, coffee, molasses, and cracked pepper. There’s just so much going on, here.
This is a visionary blend fit to bring to mind the original story from Genesis, where patriarch Jacob falls to sleep with a rock under his head and dreams of angels going up and down a ladder. He hears that his people will be numerous, and anoints a pillar right on the spot when he wakes up, renaming Luz to Bethel.
Smoke the whole Southern Draw Jacob’s Ladder Brimstone cigar fast enough and you just may have a similar experience!
This stogie is a nicely made perfecto, rolled up by the capable hands at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A. Robert Holt’s team in Texas really cooked up something special here with the help of A.J. Fernandez, blender extraordinaire, down in Nicaragua. There’s the same rough and ready Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper, and it’s also used as the binder. The Nicaraguan filler we all know and love is joined by Dominican leaf, plus some nice Ligero.
Forget the angels and their ladder. This thing is sent straight from below. It’s dark. It’s earthy. And it’s plenty wicked. It should go without saying that this isn’t a stogie for newcomers. This is for people who love spice and mature, well-developed flavors of fermented Maduro leaf. The greenness of the field is long gone. The Southern Draw Jacob’s Ladder Brimstone cigar is a journey into the dark.
